A lover of curls, education, artistic expression, and taking risks. Melina’s journey of embracing her curls was long and tough, but rewarding as all heck! She went into hair to help others love their hair and all its potential. After earning her Bachelors of Arts in Applied Psychology & Sociology from UIC, she got her start working at the Palmer House doing hair and nails. She then began a priceless apprenticeship under Chicago’s Queen of Vintage Upstyling and German master styling, Antje Kastner, learning the history of hair and working with actors all around Chicago. Passionate about being reflected in her work, she began working with curls full time. Curls are not her only love, it’s all about the healthy hair of all textures for her! Cancellation Policy
I charge a 25% cancellation fee for cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled appointment. No shows will be charged 50% of the service. Exceptions may apply.
